Released in theaters last Friday, Texas Chainsaw 3D hacked its way to the number one spot in the box office bringing in over $21.7M. Django Unchained maintained its second place standing bringing in about $20M. After being in the top spot since its release about a month ago, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey still managed to stay in the top three, hanging on in third place by bringing in over $17.5M.
