I hope everyone survived Black Friday and enjoyed their Thanksgiving weekend! All movies that debuted this past weekend didn’t even break into the top three as The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2 continued its box office dominance, followed by Skyfall and then Lincoln. Rise of the Guardians (4th Place) and Life of Pi (5th Place) at least made it into the top five bringing in about $23.7M and $22.4M respectively. The modern Red Dawn flick grossed over $14.2M making it debut in the seventh spot in the domestic box office this past weekend.
Releasing in theaters this weekend is Killing Them Softly starring Brad Pitt and Richard Jenkins that’s a nice little mix of comedy, drama, mystery and suspense. Nothing puts us in the Christmas spirit like a scary movie, also debuting this weekend is The Collection starring Emma Fitzpatrick and Josh Stewart. Will either of these movies be able to take town Twilight? Check out the trailers below and let me know!
