The Academy Awards nominations are here.
The 85th annual Oscars ceremony will take place on Feb. 24. Seth MacFarlane, who directed "Ted," is set to host. MacFarlane and actress Emma Stone announced the 2013 Oscar nominees on Thursday morning.
The Best Picture category will put "Lincoln," "Argo," "Zero Dark Thirty," "Les Miserables," "Silver Linings Playbook," "Life of Pi," "Django Unchained," "Amour" and "Beasts of the Southern Wild" in competition.
Daniel Day-Lewis ("Lincoln") leads the Best Actor race, with Hugh Jackman ("Les Miserables"), Bradley Cooper ("Silver Linings Playbook"), Denzel Washington ("Flight") and Joaquin Phoenix ("The Master") also grabbing nods.
Tommy Lee Jones ("Lincoln"), Alan Arkin ("Argo"), Robert De Niro ("Silver Linings Playbook") were nominated in the Best Supporting Actor category. Christoph Waltz ("Django Unchained") and Philip Seymour Hopkins ("The Master") also received Academy Awards nominations.
Jennifer Lawrence ("Silver Linings Playbook") and Jessica Chastain ("Zero Dark Thirty") were nominated for Best Actress along with Naomi Watts ("The Impossible"), Emmanuelle Riva ("Amour") and Quvenzhane Wallis ("Beasts of the Southern Wild").
Anne Hathaway ("Les Miserables"), Sally Field ("Lincoln"), Helen Hunt ("The Sessions"), Amy Adams ("The Master") and Jacki Weaver ("Silver Linings Playbook") were nominated for Best Supporting Actress.
