I have been asked by my wife to please stop buying my daily can of Mtn Dew. She's calculated that our family could save $225.00 per year, money that she believes this would enable us to afford luxury items like "food" and "medicine."
Unfortunately, the week she picked for this project is the week when temperatures are nearing 200 degrees, which has made this extra excruciating. Just look at all that delicious, cold, cold, sweet, bubbly nectar! Mmmmm. Must have some!
I've tried to switch to work coffee for my daily caffeine rush, which is free, (Well, free for me anyway! Thanks, radio station big-shots!) but just isn't the same. For one thing, I don't like that "coffee breath" taste, and for another, it's hot. I don't want hot, I want cold. Tried putting ice in my coffee today, and that was okay, but not great.
Secret: I found a couple un-accounted-for quarters on the dresser a couple days ago and had a soda-relapse, and I don't mind tellin' you it was good. Very good. Okay, I'm going to put on a long song (maybe something by Celine Dion? Her songs are pretty long.) and go out to the car to look underneath the seats!
