My old, reliable Coleman camp stove needed a tiny little leather washer on the pump. I couldn't find this in any store, so I ordered it directly from Coleman, who shipped it (washer: $1.99, shipping: $7.99) in a box that could have fit thousands of them. Couldn't this have been put into an envelope, then mailed for, what, a buck or so?
On the other hand, I will give the people at Coleman a break. Their camp stove (made in the USA!) has been successfully heating up my family's hot dogs, coffee and dehydrated dinners without fail for about 40 years.
