The rover Opportunity celebrated its 9th anniversary on Mars this week! Well actually IT didn't celebrate, but its controllers back on Earth did. It was hoped it would last for 3 months, but it's still driving around Mars 9 years later! (It's twin, Spirit stopped working a couple years ago.) It just keeps going, long after you figure it should have conked out, just like Judge Judy.
